To drive from Jerusalem to Teheran - 1,856 km ~ 1153 miles

roughly half the width of the USA(?) (I was thinking 2400 miles roughly but haven’t looked in awhile)

Air distances shorter, of course.

Still, you’re talking maybe around 2300 miles for R/T plus TOT

Even with conformal fuel tanks that’s a stretch without aerial refueling (will the Saudis allow it?)

They will get inflight refueling, and I think will have permission to use Jordanian and Saudi airspace. The Saudis are worried that Iran will nuc THEM. I think Iran hates Saudi Arabia, more than they hate Israel. Maybe Israel is only planning on missile strikes. We don’t know, but it keeps Iran guessing.
