The Sheetz convenience store chain has been hit with a lawsuit by federal officials who allege the company discriminated against minority job applicants.

Sheetz Inc., which operates more than 700 stores in six states, discriminated against Black, Native American and multiracial job seekers by automatically weeding out applicants whom the company deemed to have failed a criminal background check, according to U.S. officials.

President Joe Biden stopped by a Sheetz for snacks this week while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit in Baltimore against Altoona, Pennsylvania-based Sheetz and two subsidary companies, alleging the chain's longstanding hiring practices have a disproportionate impact on minority applicants and thus run afoul of federal civil rights law.

We live in NYS and I was told by an attorney NOT to discriminate against a level 3 sex offender who was applying to my apartment. He said to “find something else to disqualify him on.”

I knew there there was a reason why Sheetz’s are so clean and well-run.

Those background check companies tell people to use them for children’s nannies and babysitters and for hiring people for jobs.

Should those companies sue for discrimination against them now?

I wonder, did Sheetz donate more to the Republicans than the Democrats?

Places like Michigan also have expungement of criminal records of the felons. Not just for the secret sealed juvenile ones.

“Fresh Start” for old criminal records made them inaccessible for most of Michigan’s over 1.4 million people who have criminal records.
On April 11, 2023, Clean Slate Automatic Expungement arrived in Michigan. This new law clears away old criminal records from people, opening doors of opportunity in jobs, housing and education.

Assuming they’re rejecting whites with records why is that a problem?

Seems to me the solution is to close all urban locations. Not only is the Deep State trying to force you to hire felons, but you also must suffer shrinkage and general social disorder caused by the presences of the "natives".

I remember that recently some chain of convenience stores had to close all their "urban" Phillthydelphia locations because of this.

See Philadelphia feral "natives" rampage on Youtube.

I hope they can fight this all the way to the Supreme Court.

First step is to file third-party claims against all the prosecutors and police officers involved in the arrests and prosecution of all those poor minorities with criminal records who couldn’t qualify to work for Sheetz.

Because less tgan 8% of whites have criminal records whereas minorities had up to 14.5% criminal backgrounds.

As Jim Carey said in Liar Liar “stop breaking the law @$$****!”

That is interesting. Imagine if a store hires a felon, but does not know it because his record has been wiped clean. The employee does something to a customer in a fit of anger. The customer sues the company saying that they should have known about his previous felony conviction even though his record was wiped clean. You know that a lawyer would try to make that argument in an attempt to prove gross negligence on the part of the company.
