Paul Ryan Praises Speaker Johnson for Allowing Democrats to Seize House
Breitbart ^ | 04/24/2024 | Wendell Husebo

Paul Ryan, a member of the Fox Corporation Board of Directors, praised House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for permitting Democrats to seize control of the House last week.

Democrats steamrolled Johnson by successfully pushing Biden administration’s agenda through the House. Johnson gave Biden “pretty much everything” Biden asked for “without having to concede much in return,” Punchbowl reported.

The Democrat victory was a reminder of how some Republicans often decline to use their capacity to push conservative policies popular with the base. Democrats often appear to use their power without qualms.

People like Paul Ryan have a big chip on their shoulders because they didn’t want Trump to run for President, but he did it anyway. They are miffed that he won, all against their dire predictions. So instead of embracing his Presidency and helping him to get his AND THEIR agendas on the floor and passed, they fought him every step of the way. That didn’t help the Republicans or the country. To me, they are all just petty school bullies that when they didn’t get their way, they picked up their balls and went home.

Those bullies didn’t peacefully head home—they always beat the cr-p out of you for getting them in trouble (yes, they got themselves in trouble, but they blame you for not letting them beat you without others knowing).

Trump has been beat up by all of these Never-Trumpers, every single day.

“...because they didn’t want Trump to run for President, but he did it anyway.”

Alot of people don’t know that Hillary Clinton was the one that told her then friend Trump thatvhe ought to run for office. So he did... and she lost. He was a real estate developer but also a game show host. Clinton was thinking DJT would muddy the waters thus ushering her queenship into office unscathed. Talk about a backfire. Both Clintons have despised Trump ever since.

High praise (in)directly from the offices of Fox/Murdoch/Dominion News.

I'm sure Mike is proud to have the support of Ryan OWKA Murdoch's/Fox for allowing giving the Democrats the House...It's such a Republican thing to do.

I wonder if Mike passed out those little Ukrainian flags the Democrats were waving before the votes were even cast.

Federal Tort Claims Act------This is intended to familiarize you generally with the Federal Tort Claims Act (“FTCA”) and the protections it provides Members, Officers and employees of the House.

This is not intended, however, to answer all questions or issues that may arise. Therefore, we encourage you to call the House Office of General Counsel (“OGC”) immediately if you or a member of your staff has additional questions on this topic. (Only House Members, Officers, or staff should call OGC. OGC cannot provide assistance to other federal government employees or members of the public.)

Under the FTCA, the federal government acts as a self-insurer, and recognizes liability for the negligent or wrongful acts or omissions of its employees acting within the scope of their official duties. The United States is liable to the same extent an individual would be in like circumstances. The statute substitutes the United States as the defendant in such a suit and the United States—not the individual employee—bears any resulting liability.

A. Making a Claim Under the FTCA Individuals who are injured or whose property is damaged by the wrongful or negligent act of a federal employee acting in the scope of his or her official duties may file a claim with the government for reimbursement for that injury or damage. In order to state a valid claim, the claimant must demonstrate that (1) he was injured or his property was damaged by a federal government employee; (2) the employee was acting within the scope of his official duties; (3) the employee was acting negligently or wrongfully; and (4) the negligent or wrongful act proximately caused the injury or damage of which he complains. The claimant must also provide documentation establishing that his claim satisfies all the elements of the FTCA.

A person wishing to make a claim for reimbursement under the FTCA for damage or injury caused by a House employee must first file an administrative claim with the House. The OGC will provide a potential claimant with a claim form and inform him as to the required documentation. Please have your staff notify the OGC immediately if an event occurs which you believe may give rise to an FTCA claim.

B. The FTCA in Lieu of a Certificate of Insurance You may be asked to provide a certificate of insurance for the purpose of entering into a district office lease or for securing space in which to conduct a town hall meeting or other official event. The House does not carry a private insurance policy and generally does not permit Members to use the MRA to pay for a private insurance policy for these types of meetings or events. The OGC can provide a letter explaining the protections of the FTCA, and asking that the letter be accepted in lieu of a certificate of insurance.

Think about the Republican party right now with no Trump in the picture, other than DeSantis they are as inspiring and exciting as reading instructions on how to give an enema.

When Trump departs the scene they got NOTHING. The brand has been utterly destroyed by the liberal congressional Republicans how to win and fail completely time and again and completely infuriate your base unconscionable behavior.

Win or lose when Trump leaves the scene the GOP is headed for the last roundup because they committed hari-kari.

When Trump departs the scene they got NOTHING.
And they're too stupid to know it.

Desantis is a wet blanket unless all you care about is Disney wokeness.

It would be a really sad day If DeSantis was ever elected President.

The fact ther's no one in the landscape that can fill Trump's shoes, not even a Ronald Reagan, as great as he was.
