KENNER, La. โ Three Kenner police officers were shot during a standoff with a suspect in Kenner, according to our Partners at The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate.
Police were at the 700 block of Farm Avenue investigating a double shooting. They entered a standoff with 31-year-old Matthew Lathers.
Kenner Police Chief Keith Conley told NOLA.com that the wounded officers were taken to a hospital, but it's unclear what condition the officers are in.
When officers arrived around 9:45 p.m., they found two individuals shot, one with non-life-threatening injuries and the second in critical condition. Both victims are adult males, according to Kenner PD spokesperson Captain Michael Cunningham."

Per the above, convicted of armed robbery in 2012 and sentenced to 10 years.
Wonder how much that he served and if that’s the only charge on his record.
