How would a homeowner not know? Most homeowners can't see through concrete.

Um, seems to me the *smell* of a decomposing body would be quite overwhelming! It might have been the smell that tipped them off...
To: DoughtyOne
Yes your right...the DNA would tell us no matter who or how long the body has been there. Thanks for the post.
To: mgist
Yes, it could be anyone. I am just hoping they find her and it tells us who did this as well. whew what a horrible thing. Thanks for your post about it.

So, Tony Soprano is at it again....
To: Teacup
Well...the body would have been buried
before they poured the cement, and therefore the homeowners would not know..it would be buried under dirt. Then, they pour the concrete. The body expands and the concrete cracks.
But, more than likely, it's not new concrete.
I'm sure it's not Chandra...but...who knows?
I am not a pychic. I can't even spell it. ;-)

At the risk of being flamed, Has anyone seen the story on WWW.Aheadnews.com? It mentions a house in Luray, Where is that? I know this probably isn't the best source but my does it have some interesting stories on the case!!! Warning adults only!

If you think about it. It's probably old cement and an old crime. Never a dull moment in the DC area, LOL. I'll keep my ear on it today when the news come on today on WUSA TV9.

But how would a home owner not know they had a body in concret in there home? I'm pretty suspicious of one piece of slab in my house where somebody wrote in wet cement
R.I.P.D.B. Cooper

But the rest of the slab, I just don't know.

Interesting story!
WP had a series a few months ago about PGC Police Dept. and how they were interviewing suspects for hours at a time without benefit of counsel, bad record on solving crimes, etc.
Perhaps the house in the story had recently been sold, and new owners are remodeling??

At this point, expecting Chandra to be found wandering around somewhere is not logical. Its perfectly logical and possible, what it is NOT is likely. And I understand that, thats why its a HOPE, not an expectation.

Sounds like another Clinton Administration suicide to me.Or, maybe it's Bill and Chelsea's love child. It could happen! They are from Arkansas, afterall.
