Today is 911 Day: 9/11.
Remembering that horrible day.
And we remembered and will continue to remember everyday. Rest in Peace dear ones.

We must remind all Americans every year the horror of what happened. It is critical to our very survival.
That’s exactly what we should’ve done.....Bush was chicken.
Today let us REMEMBER those 3,000 people who died on this day 14 years ago. Let us also for this day set aside our differences and pray.

I was channel surfing and started watching a rerun of Law and Order SVU and saw the WTC in some background shots so I instantly knew the show was from 2001 or earlier. It is a moment that divides time into before and after.
They are reading off the names and ringing a bell for each one, across the street from me at the firefighters’ monument. They have a wonderful band this year. Usually just bagpipes, a couple of years they hauled a piano out there. This band—I have to check and see which one it was. Real pros. Just did a beautiful national anthem.
The leaf blower at 5:30 a.m., OK, hey whatever you guys want to do.
