My father is okay!!! He made it out of the North Tower ten minutes before it collapsed. He was on the 44th floor and the descent took 45 minutes. Clearly, many thousands did not make it out. They passed a lot of firemen who were heading up the stairs as the building was being evacuated. Those fireman must have perished. We didn't get the news that my Dad was okay until after noon, so it was a rough morning. Thanks for all of your concern and prayers.
