This Day in History: Sept. 11, 1990 - U.S. President Bush vowed "Saddam Hussein will fail" while addressing Congress on the Persian Gulf crisis.
And the Republican congress enabled him.
And the Republican congress enabled him.
Here in NY, thousands are dead, no phonelines, and smoke billowing our blue skies...God Help Us!
Enough. It is time to face this together as Americans. Put the partisan sniping aside and pull together as a nation.
Internal blame, if any, can be fixed later. We are a united nation. Act accordingly.
I had blown the trumpet blue in the face that Clinton and his silly state department head, Ms Xena, were deliberately provoking terrorists. The Aspirin Factory bombing was on St Stephens Feast Day, a celebrated day of the Christian Crusaders. Xena refused to wear a veil and spoke to fundamentalist Islamics directly.
For all my criticism of Bush, I am so glad he is in charge right now rather than Gore.
Pray for Bush. Pray for the victims and their families. Pray for our intelligence agents. And pray for our troops. God bless them.
This is the worst sneak attack in US history. Not in a logistical sense, but in every other sense. Human life. The world economy. And world fear. GOD HELP US BE AVENGED!
