Yahooooo! I've been pointing this out to my congressman for years. He was so proud of a reward program and suggested that was pitiful, that he should read the Constitution and use the Letters of Marque and Reprisal power given to Congress. They do so much that is unconstitutional, why don't they do some that is constitutional. It'd be a hell of a lot cheaper and more interesting. Small groups are going to come up with a lot more interesting solutions than the bureaucratic Pentagon, which can be seen coming from a thousand miles away. This is also the way to split the supporters off from the leadership. Some guy says to himself, gee, maybe I can pick up a couple of million dollars pretty quick and get out of Dodge. This would be very effective and would create fewer objections from allies, semi-allies and enemies.

Right on the mark -- I think our government is long overdue for an infusion of entreprenurial spirit, which has been a hell of a lot more effective than they have.

However, another idea has arisen...light a match to Janet Reno's alcohol soaked body and drop her on the Afghans, (or on Baghdad).

Declare YEEHAWD on the Muslim world.

After a marathon prayer-meeting and evening service at my local church (Orthodox Presbyterian), and positive discussion of this subject with several military professionals at my church, I decided to move up my schedule.

I called my old friend Murray Sabrin (National Vice Chair, Republican Liberty Caucus) immediately after the evening service and faxed the above article to his attention.

He had already heard of the Private-sector Bounty proposals being reported in the press, and his response was extremely supportive. He will be calling the office of the honorable Dr. Ron Paul, US Representative from Texas (member, Republican Liberty Caucus) and asking Ron's staff to clean up this proposal for formal submission to the United States House of Representatives.

Fire in the hole!! This Bill is on its way to Congress.
