Arator, I actually like you -- but, you SHOULD move to Afganistan because ONLY then will you REALIZE what it is you DO have here that you WON'T have over there. It's easy to take things here for granted. Spend some time over there -- before it gets nuked -- and maybe you'll grow up in time to come on back. Best, summer :)

Glad to hear from you! When my youngest daughter and I went to see my oldest daughter graduate from Great Lakes, she had me buy a Navy Mom shirt. When I talked to her very early Wednesday morning she reminded me about that shirt and she asked me to start wearing it. I have it on now as I am typing! Will probably wear it out but I am going to keep wearing it except to wash it (fortunately she said she was sending a few more). My wardrobe is now easy to pick out!

From the mother of a precious little boy... who may one day be president... I thank you for your leadership, and for making freeper talk a little bit more bland in the terrorists hands. I hope all will follow your "rule" now.

Arator Our nation won the second world war due to their sacrifice and the good common sense of others to keep secrets. One of the biggest being the Manhattan project. Many knew about it many chose out of duty to nation to remain silent about an entire city on a river. That is war. You may indeed have rights but Your Responsibility to not harm the welfare of others with them including those we are asking to possibly die for this nation out weigh them a thousand fold. You can not have freedom without responsibility. As a wise preacher once stated all things are lawful unto to me but not all are expedient.

I can only conclude from these quotes that anyt posts which do not parrot the official war party line will be censored. This is fascism, pure and simple. It's a Nazi-like culture. This is not America as I understand America.

You are unquestionably one of the least responsible, most spoiled, whining crybaby epitome of a baby boomer I have ever had the misfortune to run across. If you don't like this site, shove off and start your own. Again.

And fail. Again.

And how dare YOU speak of 'poor moderation' when you are singularly the very worst moderator I have ever been under.

It is perfectly reasonable for Jim to set the tone of this web site, and his moderation is the reason this web site has succeeded all these years.

Why bother when the Taliban culture has now come to FR?

Oh my effing G-d.

What dramatic, hyperbolic nonsense you spew. Please, go back to your failed web site. You are a true loser.

Jim,

I agree with everything you said.

I want to thank you for posting such an uplifting and straight forward piece, that gets right to heart of the matter. America is in a technical state of war against terrorism. I have been appalled at the numerous remarks which have attacked President Bush, his administration and other parts of our national government. This isn't the time for such unpatriotic behavior. Such attitudes are not wnated here on FreeRepublic.

A great challange awaits all American's and being united with one another and supporting our leadership is crucial to our success in this war against the evil of world terrorism.

God Bless America

Free Republic is your baby, Jim, and you're a noble, patriotic soul, and YOU ARE THE BOSS! Disagreements with the status quo of this forum needs to be presented as those of guests, and not as those with some kind of "right" to be disruptors, as though FR is some kind of street corner. We should all be writing as though we are addressing Jim in his living room, and remain respectful and civil.

Thanks for saying that Jim, I had a similar thought already to post to one of those aid the enemy posts, and the article was pulled before I could post. The less the enemy knows about our troop movements and battle plans, the safer our soldiers are.

You won't hear any bitching from me when such posts are pulled. Rather than posting to the next such post I see, I'll just hit the abuse button.
