I really don't see what you are fighting for. The Taliban, you, and Jim Robinson apparently agree on that freedom is a liability and a luxury that we simply cannot afford.

Oh, you get that wrong. People of that ilk will say that America brought Pearl Harbor on itself. It should have stayed out of the war. Hitler and Stalin would have finished each other off and that would have been that. (Read Pat Buchanan's history of WWII if you doubt that.)
