I was confused too when I was a kid. Four years in the Marine Corps changed all that. The military will do this kid good.
He IS confused, but I think he's on the right track. There are millions like him, with self-centered parents, "self-esteem" classes, being coddled by schools, etc. Previous generations already knew the meaning of sacrifice before they were called on by their country. This generation has no such foundation. They will need to discover it for themselves, and I believe they will.
I believe these young people will do us proud, and in the process expose the baby-boomers for the scum that they (many of them) are.
