Thanks, Ron, for the flag -- and logos for helping this Catholic finally reach an understanding of the conflict within ME, since Tuesday.

My Church uses patriotic songs and generates patriotism at the highest level -- before God and as an offering of praise to Him.

But still, as steeped in my own Faith as I am, I have heard only bits and pieces of thoughts of those priests which while applicable and helpful in strands -- never covered my own feelings as wholecloth.

This is a "keeper", for sure, as it is tempered, well-reasoned and comes from your soul and your wonderful mind -- gifted and formed by Him with great wisdom! I pray that you do not cast pearls before swine in its writing!
