You know what kills me?, The press hs been saying this week that Bush has finally arrived, I say the press should be saying that THEY have finally opened their eyes and can now see what most of us here already have known all along

"When I take action, I'm not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent
and hit a camel in the butt. It's going to be decisive." Just in case somebody sped through the pictures too fast to read this great quote.

For those who missed it, the quote, which will be one of his most famous, I am sure, will be found in this wonderful article by Howard Fineman (yes, that Howard Fineman):
A President Finds His True Voice
Fineman seriously compares him to St. George the dragon slayer, and I am not making that up!! Hot dog!! The media is on the run!
As far as I am concerned, this is the first victory in the EWar!

Hey, has anyone seen Mary Matalin lately??? She really has been absent lately!
You know I wondered the same thing after I saw picture #6. Don't know the details, but I heard there were some problems a while back. I hope she's still on the Vice President's team.

Thanks for the incredible dose today. Thank God we have a real President now when we really need him. Also the top GIF(?) is very creative and appropriate.

Well, the operative line is that President Bush is a late-bloomer who grew into the office just in time, but they are NEVER going to admit they were wrong. I will settle for this. To go from calling him an illegitimate presideint to St. George in one week is pretty amazing.

Thanks, Princess, for the goodies. I've already redone my home page.

The cover of Time is one that will cause me to buy it for the first time in YEARS! I think we're all thinking alike tonight. I'm thinking of framing the cover page to hang on my office wall.

I'm a 42 year old grandfather who thinks he is pretty toughI don't think any of us think we're very tough any more, do we? I have been crying off and on all week. I cried during the Lord's Prayer this morning when we said the words "deliver us from evil." Then we ended the service with "America the Beautiful" and I sobbed the whole way through.
It's been a wrenching week, hasn't it?
btw, you are a very young grandfather!!

I heard the Quote of the Day was in a Newsweek article by Fineman, but I don't know when he said it. When was Hitlery there? When was this said?
To: rintense
No, but she was mentioned by Dick Cheney today on "Meet the Depressed". It would be great seeing or hearing from her.
