Interesting article in the Herald today which mentions that New Zealand SAS troops are already in action in Afghanistan, attached to the British, and have been since September 14.

Could be true - but I'd take it with a pinch of salt. All those dodgy British papers have been going on about the SAS in Afghanistan, when they know full well it'll sell papers, and no one is going to acknowledge that it is wrong - 'We do not comment on matters concerning the SAS'.
