Besides no-one can say that George Bush was exactly the choice of the US people. It is the ignorance and blinkered view of many in the United States and the rest of the world, that has caused the WTC disaster and the problems in the middle east. Too many "conservative" Americans are gun-toting cowboys with no kind of knowledge of what they or the USA are doing in this world. Label me a commie or a lefty- i dont give a rats a*s.

Well then, take your sh*tty little country and go to h*ll. While you are at it, quit exporting those lousy apples to the United States.

Frankly speaking, the game plan really doesn't hinge upon which way New Zealand goes. For goodness sake, you economy is probably no bigger than Oklahoma's (no offense to Oklahoma).

Finally, the WTC bombing wasn't caused by anyone in the United States, it was caused by a bunch of nasty men in the Middle East. Your rhetoric sounds like classic "blame the victim" talk (she was raped because she was asking for it).

i dont think i said the game plan did hinge on which way NZ goes? By the way my typical "blame the victim" seems to be matched by you typical "bury my head in the sand" talk. I can believe so many people take what they are told by the media as the gospel truth. Dont you question? Dont you think for yourself? I have no bad feeling towards Americans as a people only some of the policies carried out by the current and past administrations. I have friends and family living in Bakersfield, Salt Lake City and other cities across the us and a cousin who was 2 blocks from the WTC when it came down. I am not condoning the behaviour of the people who perpetrated this atrocity. I am just saying that the policy of the US govt. to act all gung-ho before taking a minute to find out for sure who did this, is not one that is, to me, a righteous one.

"Frankly speaking, the game plan really doesn't hinge upon which way New Zealand goes."

Personally I myself didn't think it did!

But judging by the number and content of posts on this subject, one could be excused for thinking otherwise.

Since it doesn't hinge on which way NZ goes, why get so s**tfaced about it. Even avid supporters of elected governments don't always agree with their policies. New Zealanders are behind the USA all the way and will help in any way it can. We sympathise with all the victims of the recent terrorist attacks but since we aren't there, it is hard to really come to terms with the devastation and loss of innocent lives. America should be grateful (and appears to be) for any support and co-operation it gets - just remember that it isn't a right!! As for our economy being small, what did you expect from a country with 4 million people? And if you don't want our apples, quit buying them. We aren't forcing you to.
