Well, you're right and I have been to a few games and seen this. But the people in the stands, playing on the fields, and working in the stadium are an overwhelmingly pro-American, patriotic group. I am just not sure the realize that a little bit o' Berkley and Cambridge resides in their midsts. Just like Mississippians, Alabamians are sons and daughters of the PATRIOTIC South. They're generally not jingoists, red-neck haters, but when the Country calls they have ALWAYS been there. The sacrifices are hewn in stone in many cities, small towns, and county seats throughout the South. It reminds me of the movie, Saving Private Ryan, where Tom Hanks character asks Ryan to "be worth it". These are sentiments of many a native Southren, and may I add the good people of the North, East and West. Academians, especially the social science types, look down on all the rest of us as red-neck crackers who only want to kill and ravage. They cannot see the good hearts of the common folks--they don't believe it exists. They think it only exists in themselves, when they preach diversity, tolerance, and sensitivity. There's nothing wrong with these qualities, but the Academians fail to see these are attributes OF the common American, not the left wing. The left wing needs to tear down the Country, becuase in their view America and her common folk are a nestbed of intolerence, hatred, and right-wing Christian gun owners.

In essence, in my view, the "types" who infest Academia are part and parcel of what we at Free Republic are up against, and why Jim Rob built this site. I don't support banning them or turning them out, but I strongly feel that good men need to debate them, and show them how wrong they are. Too often, big media (made up mostly of the same types), seek out their opinions, and not the opinions of the common folk, except where it perpetuates the left wing stereotypes of right, and the common people who live in this country.

I am sick and tired of these liberals in any walk of life. The media, the teaching profession anywhere they are.

They have NO clue what a patriot is, nor what our military sacrifices to give us our Freedom and to keep our country safe from harm.

We are not only fighting the enemy outside of America but also the enemy within .

The apathy that has infested America over the years is the main reason why the liberals and their agenda have gotten a strong hold.

YESSS , yes sure do need to keep writing letters , making phone calls , flying the Flag , speaking out and taking names, let them know we are here and their days are numbered. That we are fed up with their destroying America and ouro freedoms.

They are propaganda machines every one of them..... media, teachers telling children to take the flag off their notebooks that it will offend someone. GRRRRRRRRrrrrr !!!!!!

Thank God for the parents that teach their children why they are free, who gave them their freedom and why the fight will never end to keep us Free and to have our Bill of Rights and be able to fly the Flag.

Sorry I went off here,but I have a real ' thang' about the liberals and their agenda. The anit-war idiots that did NOT give us our freedom. The draft dodgers and flag burners.
