I have yet to see an uprising of Muslims in this country proclaiming their loyalty and denouncing their brethren.

This is the proverbial elephant in the living room that no one wants to see.

I'm a few miles out of NYC - I will perish when they unleash the chemical/biological weapons. (And they WILL). I have one wish - please use nukes after I'm gone.

Senator, nobody wants to find out the next door neighbor is a child molestor or a serial murderer. We'd really rather not know.

The American Muslim situation is a little complicated, but we can analyze it briefly. The possible reasons American Muslins are not going much beyond expressing shock at the attacks and claiming Islam is a peaceful religion are:

1. They don't know what the Koran really teaches about terrorism and the murder of non-believers.
2. They are convinced that Islam will one day be the ruling class in America and they fear the "extremists" so broadly that they don't want to be on record as supporting the views of non-believers.
3. They are secretly in agreement with the "extremists" and are waiting for the time when Islam is the ruling class in America.
4. They don't fully understand the situation.

Feel free to add to the list.
