Hiya, basil! I've got mixed feelings on this airline bailout thingy. Out of sheer necessity, we need a fully functioning means of air travel in this country.

I would have placed restrictions on the funding to limit that funding to operations only (which, of course, would include paying pilots, flight attendants and security). NO corporate staff should be eligible for payment out of that funding. NONE.

Eleanor Clift supports the airline bailout, so it can't be all good. So with the bailout, do the airlines promise the same "high quality" service that was losing their customers before this? I was going to ask the airlines for slave reparations, but then I remembered that we paid for the abuse.
