She was such an idiot and so whacked out that even Colmes was criticizing her.

But as is shown in Hugh's EXCELLENT report, these fools are not to be taken lightly. Intentionally or not, they are giving aid and comfort to our enemies in a time of war. I think there is a word for that.

There are five reasons to take these people extremely seriously, as I see it.

They are, to use their own words, "adequately funded". As we can see above, they get money through many venues, including from investment houses such as Fidelity. The charities which sound like them raise money all the time, and God only knows how much money they will get from the Rodgers recording if they are on the recipients list.
They are the folks that make the heart of the Green party, and are their grassroots fertilizer. The Green Party platform is straight out of the World Workers Party playbook, and their candidate for President in 2000 got up to nearly 10% in the polls during portions of the campaign. They have a lot more support than comfort allows, and if the economy takes a few more bad hits and the war does not go well, who knows how much support they can get, especially if they find a candidate who can strike a populist chord?
They have turned out huge crowds through their Direct Action Networks to protests, including tens of thousands in Seattle two years ago. They intend to cause problems whenever they show up, and they plan to show up regularly.
There are already entirely too many members of Congress who consider themselves "Progressives", such that ignoring what the far left is doing simply is foolish.
They gained the most influence they have had in this country since the days of McCarthy during the Vietnam war era. They will do everything in their power to make this another vietnam, hoping to extend their reach further.
