IMHO, there are events in these peoples lives which changed them. That is the case with me. One day I'm riding down the road one of the most screwed up people on earth, I shout a prayer to God, to please take it because I can't anymore! Within the week, my life, and my attitude had changed. I did nothing on my own. There was nothing I could do.

It has everything to do with MY outlook on life, earth, and science in general. That reply has nothing to with believing creationists could not possibly be as intelligent as you are. You obviously wear your intelligence like a badge, it is your pride and joy. Pride goeth before the fall.......
