Chris Matthews and some experts (ex=has been, spurt=drip under pressure)are spreading it thick. According to them, there is nothing we can do militarily that won't make our enemies mad, therefore we should make nice. Here it comes, get back to your lives citizens.

Violence is the only thing these third world nations respect, and understand.
There is something that can be done about it, fight the Aghanis, or any other terrorist, the way that they won the old west. You hunt them down, never let them rest, round up their wives and children, put them all behind razor wire and two miles of anti-personel mines, and the only way in to them is by chopper.
The typical terrorist is no different in their mentality than a plains Indian. They have to have some source of water and food, you cut them off from that during the winter time, and then you can have all the frozen terrorists you want when spring comes.
The media and the rest of the commies that make up the liberals, moderates, and Democrats out there never had faith in this country from the beginning. The 5% of this nation that are hard-chargers and actually make this nation work should quit trying to please a bunch of bung-hole bandits and get on with making this planet safe for man and beast.

Think of it as humanitarian aid...adding a warm glow to their cities this winter.
Many have accused me of copyright infringement, insesitivity, and selfishness. I guess America really doesn't come together as well as we all want to believe it does. All I did was share my feelings, and now for that I'm seen as a horrible person. None of you know me, or even know why I made that presentation.
I live in Winter Park, FL, far away from the sites of terrorism. But when I was awakened at 11am on that Tuesday morning to the sound of my best friend screaming on my answering machine, I felt like it was happening right outside my door. I sat glued to the TV all day and night, crying and scared. I have family in New York, and I tried calling them all day long, but the lines were dead. I'm not a great writer or artist, but I wanted to do something. ANYTHING. So I taught myself to use Flash and I made a little presentation using pictures that I found on the internet and Ray Charles singing America the Beautiful. I sent it to about 10 family members and friends, because I just wanted them to know that I was thinking about them, praying for them, and praying for the nation.
Since that day, I've gotten over 2,000 e-mails from people I don't even know, from people that live all over the WORLD. My friends and family had forwarded my e-mail and URL to their friends and family, who passed it on to theirs, and so on. It got out of control. My server was being overloading with hits, getting 93,000 in one day! Then people started getting mad.
I started getting e-mails from people claiming that I was doing this for money. Actually, if I was making money off of it, you wouldn't be able to view it for free just by clicking on a link. Seriously, that accusation is a little far-fetched. Then people started telling me I should be ashamed, what if the victim's families saw this, then how would I feel? I shouldn't be trying to get my name out there by taking advantage of a situation like this. How dare I not think of those involved. I'm so sorry for any of you that are victims that may have seen my page, but you know what - I didn't make it for the world. I made it for myself and my family, I wanted to do something. I didn't want everyone and their whole family to see it too. I'm sorry if that really does make me sound insensitive, but it's true. The presentation did come from my heart, and it is a reflection of how I feel. But if you take a look at it and the fact that it was the first Flash presentation I've ever done, it's really not that great. If I had wanted millions of people to see it, I would have made it so much better than it was, seriously. I wasn't trying to achieve fame or anything like that, I'm not that kind of person. I really didn't care if anyone saw it, it just made me feel better that I made it.
As for the issue of copyright infringement, technically you got me there. I'm sorry to Ray Charles and the photographers that took the pictures I used. Since I wasn't planning on anyone seeing the presentation, I didn't bother looking up the photographer for every single picture. I didn't think they would really mind if I used it for a personal project. Obviously, the fact that I was trying to make myself and a couple other people feel better doesn't really make a difference, they still want to make money off of it. So, you win - no one will see them again.
For the thousands of you that wrote me e-mails thanking me... Thank you. It was not what I did that moved you, but the fact that you cared enough about what happened that made you see the emotion I put into my work. I read every single e-mail that came into my box, and I'm sorry that I can't personally respond to each and every one of you, but that would be a pretty overwhelming task. I'm working on a page right now for all of you that asked me questions in your e-mails, and it will answer all of those questions for you. Just come back here in a couple days and it'll be up.
