Yesterday, thinking over the fate of the PA crash victims, I had this horrible epiphany as I considered the one passenger several others said had been knifed, and died. I believe that if the hijackers could have gotten guns on the plane, the kind whose bullets don't pierce airplanes, they would have shot all the passengers (and on the other flights, too) because they were just so much "useless baggage" and a major threat to their plans. I can't fathom such a mindset but I am convinced that this was theirs.
I hadn't heard about Todd being held at knifepoint till I read this. It makes his later actions all the more wonderful.
The man who died from being knifed almost certainly was killed because he tried to resist the hijackers early on, on his own. In some ways, I suspect he was a major catalyst for the others who rushed the hijackers -- this act revealed what was in the hijackers' hearts, combined with news of the fate of the first three flights, this had to be why one of the men said to his wife, "We can't wait for the authorities."
God bless their memories, and all who loved them.

Thanks for the ping, SB. What a beautiful testimony. Gretchen, you're right - that first passenger to be killed may well have tried to prevent the hijacking, and to that unknown hero, our thanks. We know of three men who joined Todd Beamer in charging the terrorists, because they were on the phone before they made their move, but there may have been even more. God knows their names.

Thanks, Snow Bunny.
Again I'm typing through the tears.
I'm so proud of America and people like Todd Beamer that I could bust.
GOD BLESS AMERICA !
NOW LET'S ROLL !

You can't post bitmap (.bmp) images on the web. You need to change the format of the image to .jpg or .gif.

Way to go! Dontcha just love getting in their face?
Isn't it amazing (a la the vote protest in Florida) that when righteous, no-nonsense Patriots tell the leftist scum off, they run and hide like rats.
If I were you I'd make a personal call on the local Bishop or Cardinal and have the little Nazi-father excommunicated.
It must be against church doctrine to praise mass-murder.

THE wife of suicide jet hero Todd Beamer told last night how President Bush wept as he comforted her with a hug
The president just wept and hugged her? You mean he didn't pinch her butt or grope her breasts? He didn't try to position her hand on his private parts?
The girls at NOW must be furious!

You can't post bitmap images on the web It shows up on my monitor - are you not able to see it? I download bitmap photos all the time.
Can anyone else see it?
I will change it to a jpg or gif file but I would like to know the answers to the questions, above.

Thank you so much for hailing me, swheats, difficult as it is to get through the entire read.
This article should be placed in the hands of teachers to be incorporated into their lessons - for higher grades, at least.
We who grew up in an era steeped with thousands of such stories during WWII and Korea and beyond take for granted these images.
Too many children today are filled mostly with those from television screens of violence and horror and sex - and those of designer clothing and Pokemon and computer games and Harry Potter.
They need inspiration infused into their minds, and encouragement to reach higher...

Thanks as usual for your support for the right side!
We, Nam era vets know all too well what can happen if these vile Anti American Left Wingers get their way on the streets, in our schools and in our Churches! Thanks to them we lost the war in Nam, and then the really bad people, the commies slaughtered people throughout Nam and neighboring countries!
One day I will post how we in the military went from heros after the Cuban Crisis to the hated in 5 years thanks to Fonda, Ramsey Clark and those who blame/hate America first!
To: prambo
Thanks! Normally I have no problem getting the face of the left wing extremists on the street, in the market place and at parties when they attack America or my president!
However, in an official church mass/service, I/we have reservations to doing what I did! However, as we are burying the victims of the mass murderers, I could not tolerate this scumbag's attack on Americans and blame us for the vile actions resulting from those who ordered the mass murders!
At first, I was just going let it ride past, and let my actions be a warning to those who would condemn America for the cowardly mass murder ordered by some of the richest people on this earth. I have decided that I will move on this in a proper and respectful manner!

I saw this brave lady on Larry King Live, and a few other shows recently.
She's stronger than I'll ever hope to be, because I'll tell you every time I read her story, and about her being pregnant with two sons already, it rips my heart out.
God bless and keep this family. She's one courageous faithful woman. What a fine example the Lord has set before us.

What a brave man and what a brave woman. As long as there are people like this, the Republic will live on.

Thank you for the Ping, swheats! I can hardly see to type this -- my eyes are swimming in tears. The entire Beamer family are courageous heroes. God bless them for holding onto the Lord at this most unsettling and painful time. God bless Todd for being more concerned about
everybody but himself during the inimaginable crisis he found himself in the midst of on that fateful day. God bless President Bush for not being one to cry crocodile tears, and for having a real red-blooded American, Christian heart. God bless him for reaching out to everyone in pain. God bless Lisa Beamer for staring fear and sorrow in the face, and yet being triumphant with her charity efforts, and knowing where her priorities lie. God bless the Beamer children, Lisa's priorities, for I know they will emerge victorious from this, thanks to their mother's incredible strength and guidance.
May the Beamers never be forgotten. Never. A finer example of proud Americans and devoted Christians couldn't possibly be found. Many may be on equal footing, and it wouldn't surprise me, but none could surpass them. My prayers will be with them. Now and forever.
May Yeshua bless them all, and hold them close to His heart, while sending angels to watch over them. Amen.
