Born Halloween 1956. In the first presidential election that I could vote I campaigned for Gerald Ford, but remember being very disappointed that Reagan hadn't won the primary.

How about: Jingle Jumps, Hula Hoops, Pogo Sticks, Stingrays with a Banana seat, and then the 10 speed.Treasure chest candy, The one full of coins and a PRIZE! Orange Juice cans used for rollers and those little puddle dogs with a radio (Mine was pink). Corner group sets for the Bedroom? and KROY(for those in Sacramento). The flying Nun, and BOBBIE SHERMAN! awww how sweet it was. Of course I was born in 57 so it really was the tail end.

I am not sure who posted this on one of the previous threads but Brady Boomers seems to feel right for a name for this bubble of years between boomers and gen x.

Oops. Just remembered a few more @$$-kickin' Summerfest concerts from the 70's: The Cars, REO Speedwagon, and who can forget the innumerable times I saw Sweetbottom (Darrel Steurmer, Duane Steurmer, Warren Wiegratz, and a couple of drummers and/or keyboard players whose names I can't remember)....

Hey, how about equal time for X-ers. I fall into the very early X category, born in 1966, and my parents are definitely BOOMERS. Most people in my era didn't see much, BUT WE HEARD ABOUT IT. We are in our 30's now, have young kids, are trying to make our ways.
In some ways, we need a little more representation. We're all still very busy raising our little children and don't have a lot of time for posting.
