Interesting that you are able to advise Rush but you have no idea if he is a Christian. If you have ever listened to him, you would know he is. Therefore, you show you have zero, zip, nada, knowledge, and still you presume to offer advise.

The Bible doesn't teach that money is evil. It does teach that the love of money is problem. I have heard Rush say many times that happiness in his career came when he learned to stop concentrating on how much money he was or wasn't making. No one knows what Rush does with his money. He could be living off 10% of his income and giving away 90% for all we know. Everything happens for a reason, and God has seen fit to trust Rush with great talent and wealth.

There are many examples of godly men in the Bible whom God trusted with great wealth. Job, Abraham and Solomon are the first who come to my mind. Pray that Rush will find God's will in this time of personal trial.

Thanks so much for posting this as I was at work and haven't been able to listen to Rush as much as I'd like.

I'm so very sad to hear this news, but will keep Rush in my prayers and know that he will find a way to keep communicating. Am so grateful that he wants to keep his show. America needs him.

Thank-you. Our inept radio station, KBUF, managed to screw up the begining of the 2nd hour of his show, so we didn't get to hear what Rush told others. I found this on FR before his website. I was so glad he repeated his announcement again later.

I'm a Christian and you've really humiliated me with your comments. Looks like you need to attend church more often because the message isn't penetrating your thick skull.

I had to go to work this morning before the second hour of Rush's show started. I was so curious about his announcement and had to miss it. I knew I could get on here when I got home and find out what he said. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought this!
What a brave man Rush is, and he will be in my prayers. He will do a better job than any other radio talk show host hands down in spite of his hearing loss!

I haven't been a long time listener of Rush just the last few years. I have enjoyed him many times and his wisdom. Having just read this I am in a bit of shock but feel his character and philosophy of life will carry him through. Prayers for Rush.
