I don't understand what all the hubbub is about?
What Ann has said is simply a reflection of the radical Islamic's intentions for us, Only if we don't comply we are to be exterminated.........

"I think [women] should be armed but should not [be allowed to] vote."---Politically Incorrect, 2/26/01Now, here's one example of a fine, truly conservative woman, secure in her beliefs!

I thought she wrote something controversial.

"To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."---MSNBC"This, in a nutshell, tells me what I need to know about the Washington Monthly. Obviously, Ann did not say that the "disability" of the man caused us to lose the war, but perhaps the post war political attitude of which they were disagreeing about. But the Washington Monthly would like you to believe she was slamming the guy for being disabled. A rather blatant attempt of deceit.

The author(s) of this article obviously
felt that they had to do it----
FOR THE CHILDREN!!! Ann obviously knows what the 'leftist' audiences of Rivera and Maher like to 'glom' onto, and she gives it to them 'straight up'.
The thing that differentiates Ann from them, is that they can't take it. {;~)

If it was meant to be a fiendishly clever hit piece, it sure is backfiring.

"At the risk of further de-contextualization, here are some of Coulter's past comments:" "RISK"? Did you say "RISK"? (That's like a weather forecaster predicting a "risk" that skies will get darker tonight than they were at noon today!) How about more like, "With the DELIBERATE CERTAINTY of further de-contextualization ..."????
- To a disabled Vietnam vet: "People like you caused us to lose that war."
A statement like this just sitting by itself looks pretty bad, all right. That's why de-contextualization is a favorite tactic of slimeball mud-slingers everywhere. Coulter's words were no doubt said to the face of a fellow guest on some show who fully deserved it! Someone like Ron Kovic, a longtime favorite darling of the media and the Official Poster Boy for anti-war fervor. For example, the media trotted him out a ton back in 1990 as part of a massive Liberal effort to prevent Bush Sr. from saving Kuwait. - "Anorexics never have boyfriends."
Again, out of context this makes her look cold and cruel. The slimeball who quoted this is no doubt depending on the fact that virtually all of his/her audience has never seen a photo of Coulter from head to toe. If they had, they would figure out in an instant that she is referring to herself. Most likely her quote was in response to the question, "Ann, do you have a boyfriend?"
The rest of these statements are also out of context, some of them extremely so. Do note that on the website this came from, the author is not named. Slime!
Of course, Ann doesn't really need us to defend her. Her mighty power with the pen is her own best defense!

Look. This is the real deal. (1) First deport all persons from the Middle East, Africa and Israel and Turkye who don't have green cards. Then(2) give all persons from Islamic countries who suppor terrorism which include Yemen, Jordan, Saudi, Iraq, Iran, Afganistan, Algeria, Egypt,Morraco, and Turkye two weeks notice to go to any OTHER country (Preferably France or Sweden). (3) Put all Muslims who don't or won't leave in Concentration camps. Right here in the USA.

I never cared for Ann's looks much before, but after reading her comments, I think I'm in love.

This is not controversial. She's perfect. For victory & freedom!!!

Shabby liberal hit-piece with a bunch of out-of-context quotes. It fails on all counts.
As a conservative, I find that they add up to a lot of hard-edged, common-sense statements with a touch of hyperbole and a dash of irony. These kind of honest, no BS statements from a conservative woman are what makes Ann Coulter so popular. Yes, her looks help but over the past few years, her short skirts and long blond mane would not have continued to keep her in the forefront of political activism without some substance; as we've seen in this would-be smarmy hachet job.
Ann Coulter says what many Americans are thinking and the left assumes that she'll be rejected for simply making sense. No way. The liberals are probably thrilled to believe they have Ann on the run after her 'convert them all to Christianity/swarthy males' flap with New Republic. Sorry girly-boys, it ain't gonna happen.
Ann is a solid presence, a strong, intelligent voice for conservatives in a liberal-dominated media and she is not going away nor will she be abandonded by (most) conservatives, especially this one. Ann: 1 Liberals: 0
To: lady reaper
Liberals are copying and pasting this list all over the internet as a sign of Ann's "evilness" and "racism" and whatever else they say about people they disagree with.
I saw this after I'd read the first few columns she wrote after Sep. 11. I'd been losing interest in her column, not because I disagreed, but because the quality seemed lessened. Then, when I saw these quotes, my faith was restored! These quotes are hilarious! Many are very true, and the rest are so obviously out of context that it makes them that much more funny.
I don't know who liberals are trying to influence by publishing this, but it's not gonna do any good (besides making liberals angry and offended, which they like being, and conservatives laugh, which they like doing). It's not gonna make any conservative who knows Ann Coulter change his mind about her.
I first saw the list on a message board in The Ann Coulter FAN Club. It didn't change anyone's mind there either. Because those quotes are why we like her. She infuses conservative philosophy with clever wit and satire (satire so good, one dummy liberal in the club took her hilarious satire piece on NOW's support of Andrea Yates seriously).
Liberals never learn . . .

I predict the Ann Coulter fan club will be swamped with female applicants because of this article.

I love Ann, and she's more correct than even most conservatives have the guts to admit.
