You can expect Arab-Americans to apologize for transgressions by their ethnic/religious kin when you see Irsaelis and Italians and Russians apologize for their Mafia brethern; or, when you see Israeli-Americans apologize for Mrs. Marc Rich buying a pardon for her ex; or, when Johnanthan Pollard is denounced by Israeli-Americans; or, African-Americans apologize and speak out against black crime, etc ad nauseam.
If Arab/Muslim-Americans are so obviously evil why wasn't this apparent to our government who issued them visas to be here? Was this 'unamerican' Arab/Muslim problem among the top 10,000 issues of concern among Americans before the hysteria of 911? After all, this terrorist war has been going on for three decades and the obvious wasn't noted until now? Shame on the know-it-alls who didn't alert us to such an obvious outrage.
To the contrary, up to now it was a PC requirement to celebrate multiculturalism and diversity. Such is taught even now in our schools.
As for groups that 'hate-America' you might look first at the non-arab types who teach in our universities and colleges, and high-schools. And, also, the pinched face types that control big media; and, the many politicians we elect as a nation. For a people who tolerated Bill Clinton's silence until $40 million (and DNA evidence) was spent to force an apology out of him, I think to question the silence of Arab-Americans to be quite un-American.
