CNN Plugs FR
CNN Headline News | CNN

Posted on 10/12/2001 12:19:16 PM PDT by Psycho_Bunny

Did anyone just catch the CNN Headline News report on the idiot Physics professor that said the American flag was a symbol of "terror" on the evening of Sept 10th?

The reporter said the woman was inundated (ie FReeped) with "threats" via phone and Email and they showed a picture of a FR thread….I was so surprised to see the FR thread I didn’t hear what the reporter was saying….was it “hate web sites”?

Wouldn't being considered a hate site by the commie news network be a good thing?

Kind of the same way that being considered a good guy by bin laden would be a bad thing.

Given the extremist crap that's being posted all over FR these days, they wouldn't have any difficulty at all in making a good case that FR is precisely that.

This is why people should think before they post.

Depends on your point of view.

If you're an unborn child, an innocent Serbian or some other Afghan, third-worlder or unfortunate individual without the luck to be born in America and caught between the rock and the hard place that are your RUTHLESS DICATORSHIP or the Clean Hands of U.S. Bombers, indeed you would find the U.S. flag terrifying.

No joke.

Got a kick out of everyone's calling the Afghani's "medieval" for stoning a Frenchie journalist transvestite.

Pales in comparison to some of the ideas I've seen tossed about for folks fitting but one of those descriptions.

Better not have been a thread with a quote form a certain two daily newspapers or they are in for a rough time.

This is why people should think before they post.

Why should people change their ways? It's the Internet after all. Posting precludes purposeful planning.

Once again, I would like to thank CNN on behalf on many Freepers, for the free publicity. While ratings at CNN continue their free-fall into the dank basement of oblivion, the number of Free Republic registrants recently passed 70,000. When you consider the additional numbers of lurkers, it is quite possible that MORE PEOPLE will be getting their news from Free Republic, as opposed to CNN, in the very near future. Eat American dust, marxist dogs! ROFL!

Excuse me this physicist is an ingnorant enemy of the USA and under the guidelines of condemning hate speech she and CNN should be condemned. since when is Fredom of speech only for the condemnation of America. I think there are more than a few on Free Republic who have shed blood for that piece of dung to be able to flap her jaw against the USA yet some would have those who are speaking up for America conform to her PC agenda. No thank you.

It is time to get rid of the Politically Correct anti Americans by shopwing them for what they are and if they make any overt act in making war on the USA or giving aid and comfort to those who are making war on the USA they should pay the most severe penalty under the law.

Who are you planning on deporting? I'm trying to figure out which one of you deserves all the labels you're throwing around.

I don't read every thread, but exactly which "extremist posts" are you talking about?

Amen to that! I guess war[mongering] brings out the worst in people. I'm just glad a lot of these clowns aren't in any position to influence or make policy!

Right up there with incinerating 7000 innocent civilians, is it? There's a difference between hate and pragmatism. Pragmatically speaking, I hate stupidity.

I sent her JPEG's of Arlington National Cemetary and pictures of the American Flag. I guess I must be a "terrorist".

Those posting her address and phone number was pulled by moderators. I even, after seeing that this was a violation, told the moderators of an earlier thread with personal information.
