You can now use an unlimited number of names in the To: field. Though only 97 characters will print on the post, all names will be indexed.

You also don't have to spell the member's name correctly, just as long as you put all the letters in the right order, it doesn't matter if you use the same punctuation or spacing. That is, you can get away with addressing me as: johnrobinson

You can even get crazy and add punctuation. john !@$%& robinson delivers to me.

Love the non-military time at the bottom of each post and reply! Also like that it's Pacific time.

Thank you John

Any plans to reactivate author searches via "author:(name of author)"? Those used to be the easiest way to avoid duplicate posting of the same article posted under different titles.

Hi John,

NOTE: This is a temporary program, the URL will change. We're using this as an interim solution. This is not the final version!

Looks good, but (there alway seems to be one of those),
Would still like to see who I replied to (I can see who a reply was from).
Also, will there be an FRmail notification?

On my self searches right now I am getting two "hits" to thread with posts to me that don't exist.

For example, one was supposedly post 34 on this thread that showed on my search as only to me from 2ndMostConservativeBrdMember ... but it is in reality (here on the thread) to several people from 2ndMostConservativeBrdMember and I am not one of them.

Just an FYI. There is another example in my current self search from another thread that is the same type thing.

Bump List has been updated as well.

Currently "to" and "from" searches from latest posts are broken. That will be fixed asap.

Okay ... I got it.

It is listed in my search only to me ... and then in the thread it ony shows the first 97 characters .... so if I am down the list a ways, I will not see my name on the thread but can presume I am on the list.

Sorry to be slow on the uptake.

Great feature to allow so many names in the BUMP of one ... but one of the good things about the old system was that it kept the thread appearing at the top of the list, so more people could see it over time. Of course, we can still accomplish that with this system, while doing the other (which we couldn't do before).

Way to go!

Planned additions: personal bump lists and cc's and bcc's. (Difference between "to" and "cc"--I don't know yet! "bcc" will be a stealth ping, the name will not be listed on the message at all.)
