I don't think the Taliban would think it was "one big fat joke", and I don't think our President thinks it is a joke, and nor do I think the family members of the innocent that were killed on 9/11 think "The War on Terrorism" is a joke either.

I noticed that too. I figure they missed at least half of the US groups, perhaps considerably more (anarchists, eco-nuts, etc). There are 369 listed, so the real total might be 540-730, allowing for such undercounts. If we knock out one per week we can be done in 10 or 15 years. One per month and we can be done by 2050 - assuming we can pick up the pace as new ones form. Gee, maybe we better do some of this in parallel, instead of one at a time. Less waiting that way.

It was clear that CommiesOut didn't mean it in that way. It's easy to stifle discussion through populist finger pointing. The way I read his/her comments was that the list exposes much hypocrisy. There are certain groups like the IRA and the KLA which almost certainly won't be acted against because it would not be politically prudent.
