Yes, he keeps in touch with her. One of his cell phone calls was made to his mother on September 9, telling her to go into hiding that a big surprise was coming. That phone call has been made public, but I forget which news outlet carried it. I know it was posted here. The phone call is part of the evidence linking Osama to 9/11.

You are right, the news reported that contact, but it was with his step-mother who raised him, not his birth mother. I realize that several news sources referred to the woman he contacted as "his mother"....but the woman is in fact the last wife of his father.
