All is going according to schedule:
Note that today, and for the next several days, there will be no moonlight. The nights will be pitch black, perfect for our commandos with their night-vision equipment, and very bad for the low-tech Taliban troops.
When the air attacks started 10 days ago, I knew they were laying the groundwork for commandos to be ready to hit the dirt at the time of the new moon.
