Hey no-meat-eaters-on-Fridays-during-Lent!
There are a ton of us Catholic Freepers out there, this is our little thread in the big big world. This is just my way of attempting to get to know people just like me.

Patent's got a big ole Catholic distribution list.
As a Catholic, I make sure to invite at least two Baptists to go with me when I go fishing.
If I invite just one, he'll drink all the beer.

An Aquinas fan.... Tomas Aquinas kicked my rear in seminary. I will admit that he wasn't as bad a K. Rahner. Loved Aquinas' logic on the assassination of leaders as the greatest good.

A funny story.....
I was sitting in a college computer lab last Ash Wednesday when I overheard some girls talking.
Girl 1: "Hey, today's Ash Wednesday."
Girl 2: "It is?"
Girl 3: "Oh no, I ate chicken for lunch!
Girl 2: "Remember, no sex tonight."
Girl 3: "Oh yeah. Man, I hate that!"
I don't think I can stop laughing, even thinking about it today. Fast and Abstinence means fast, and abstain from meat, not sex. Of course, good Catholics remember that no-sex-before-marriage stuff.
