Coma Esta where is his family from (please don't say Manilla, everyone seems to) Does your husband enjoy the little tiny fish fried w/ Nipa Palm Vinagar and rock salt(kosherworks well). My family is from Taft Samar they took me in when I was 5yrs old. I was called the white girl with Filipino blood. Spent a summer in my moms barrio when I was 16. (41) now. Yes and it was expected that I get Rel. Ed. I went back to the church ten years ago and studied alot at first. Now that we are homebound we have mass now and then here at the house. Father said our life has taught us what the avg. person still is clueless about. We are part of the Militia Immaculata St. Kolbe. I have always enjoyed your postings even the ones I have mis-interpated like an ass. One of my least favorite qualtities.

Please add me to your list.
After posting an article on the significance of the SCOTUS decision on the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe last December, I was flamed and then blown up by some very anti-Catholic people. While we are a minority, this is very much needed.
Thank you for your leadership.

Missouri Synod Lutheran here passing on a link ...
Catholic Goldmine and a note from my Pastor via E-mail regarding an anthrax scare this afternoon...
It was quite scary today, when St. Simon School next door had an anthrax scare. All of the children (800 of them) were sent to Holy Cross, for the parents to pick up. Some of the older chdren who came in contact with the substance were decontaminated, and the parents are picking them up as I write this. It is still unclear as to the nature of the substance. The media are everywhere. Check your local station for current news. They are briefing the parents next door right now.
Keep these children, who are pretty shaken up, and their parents in your prayers.... and pray for our nation, that we don't become terrorism-phobic.
In Him, Pastor Sattler
This happened in Indianapolis today...it looks as though all is clear. My two children attended St. Simon for a year before we moved to NC (and have recently moved back to the same neighborhood). St Simon is the best school my children have ever attended. It's a wonderful atmosphere created by wonderful people.
God's blessings to all

The town I grew up in was so Catholic, we had no public school (Dyersville, Iowa/Field of Dreams site).
Vah! Denuone Latine Loquebar? Me ineplum. Interdum modo elabitur.
Oh, was I speaking Latin again? Silly me. Sometimes it just sort of slips out.

There are a ton of us Catholic Freepers out there, this is our little thread in the big big world. This is just my way of attempting to get to know people just like me. Try going to a democratic party meeting.

Maybe you can convince Sinkspur to study Thomas Aquinas. It seems as though he came along after they quit teaching him in the seminary.

Hi BaBa, add me to the proud and Catholic list, with 12 years of Catholic school, under the old-fashioned guidance of Irish Nuns.
