Be on the look out for the latest E-mail hoax, coming to a computer near you. I just received it a few minutes ago. I thought I would leave the authors email address attached for your enjoyment.

Subject: Need to stock up!

Friends, colleagues and associates I don't know how much to put into this but I thought I'd pass it on and let you all be the judge. I hope it doesn't come to this but if so....stock up and....PEACE.

I received this from a friend and wanted to share it with you!!!

Hello Everyone,I got a phone call this evening from a real good friend of mine. He has a friend who attends Bishop T. D. Jakes'church in Dallas TX. Anyway, President Bush contacted Bishop Jakes and wanted to meet with him. Bishop Jakes flew to D.C., met with President Bush and had this to report to his congregation.

He said he couldn't disclose the information the President shared with him, but he warned his congregation and told them to contact as many family members and friends they could and let them know to stock up on bottled water, canned foods, and nonperishable food items.

The war, when it breaks out, will be a chemical war that will effect our water system, electricity and crops.

So, I'm sending out this email message to everyone in my address book and encourage you to spread the word. I know when the media gets hold of this, the supermarkets will have problems keeping their shelves stocked.

Also, please remember to pray. It's a shame that it took the tragedy of the 11th to bring this nation back to God. But the scripture still says, "If my people, that are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and heal their lands."

As a nation, we have turned our backs on God. We've taken it for granted that we get up every morning and go about our busy work schedules and don't even acknowledge him, except for times of trouble.  And also remember that even in the midst of this, God is still in control.

Be blessed.

I think what the messenger left out was that he was the Southwest Division President for the Kroger grocery chain.

If a friend of a friend says the President requested a meeting with a Dallas minister to tell him secrets and make him promise not to tell anyone else, then by God it must be true.

Hmmm, I wonder if Krispee Kreme donuts come in cans?

Shhhhh, just between me, you and the lamppost, you might be able to get away with Hefty Ziploc Storage Bags. Oh, and did I tell you? They're on sale this week at Kroger! Imagine that! (and don't forget your coupons are doubled for everyday savings!)

Generally anytime you see an email from a "trusted source" or "friend of a friend" at XYZ organization, it's a hoax. I have to deal with similar emails to this one at my job (false virus warnings), and they always come from someone who's best friend or brother in law is the IT Manager at IBM or Microsoft, and they are always false when I try to verify them. There is a website dedicated to debunking these type of hoaxes - snopes2.com, I encourage everyone to check there if they get this type of email.
