You are touchingly naive. Many third world immigrants love our efficient economic system but hate everything else about this country, most especially its historic ethnic makeup, institutions, and traditions. Many, probably most, retain primary loyalty to their home ethnic, religious, or national group. If you really talked to these folks much or read news articles about their attitudes, especially since 9/11, this would be painfully obvious.
