Why does the Left always call people with a different point of view "hateful"??

Interesting? Yes. Breaking? Not even close. :)

Peterson's presence "forced people to think about their feelings and thoughts and created campus-wide discussion. I think it probably got people to thinking which was ultimately the purpose of the presentation." DELIGHTFUL!!!!! I am so glad he finally got to speak after all the worry on the part of the staff-LOL!! What a bunch of silly geeks. YOU GO REV PETERSON-I believe you make God smile now and then! And I know you lighten my heart!!!!

Cassie DeValle: Will you marry me?
I think that it is refreshing to see some young people standing up for what is truly an intelligent debate. Whether this young lady agrees with what Rev. Peterson says, she knows that it is intelligent to listen and decide for yourself.
The left can not make a rational argument. Almost every arguement is based on emotion, conjecture, or both! Since intelligent people make intelligent arguements, this specifically EXCLUDES the left. I wonder if they will be protesting for dummy's rights? (oh, sorry, that is what democRATs do everyday)
Anyway, FREEPER kudos to Cassie DeValle!

"They have yet to come up with a clear idea of what he said that is hateful," said DeValle. And they won't come up with an idea either. That is, not until one of their leftist professors tells them what to think.

Blacks are not suffering due to racism," Peterson told WND, basically reiterating what he told the Gonzaga students, "but the lack of moral character you know, the destruction of the family. No program will fix that. We've got to rebuild the family." "Some students weren't sure why he was allowed to speak," said DeValle, "because they felt he was preaching a message of hate, and the theme of the week was against hate."
"Students have come to me with concerns," she said. "They didn't appreciate that he was against the NAACP and Jesse Jackson." But despite all the heat, there was little fire from students about pinning Peterson to anything specifically bigoted.
"They have yet to come up with a clear idea of what he said that is hateful," said DeValle.
Jesse Lee Peterson is not HATEFUL; he is TRUTHFUL.
Which is MUCH more dangerous - to the small minds of academia.
Calling the "Jedi Jesse" PING commander...

Dale Goodwin, public relations director for Gonzaga, wouldn't comment directly on the supposed spat between faculty and Stoltz but said Peterson's presence "forced people to think about their feelings and thoughts and created campus-wide discussion. I think it probably got people to thinking which was ultimately the purpose of the presentation."

My son used to go to the basketball camp at Gonzaga. It was a bad experience. The kids stayed in the dorms, the Gonzaga basketball team were left in charge of the dorms. (I don't know why they were there in the summer, I thought that NCAA banned year around practice) When the kids (ninth grade) got out of control the college bball players ran down the hall swinging a pipe at anyone who didn't run to their room. My son's roommate didn't make it to practice the next day as a result. I don't have good feelings about Gonzaga.

When asked why such a message would rub so many folks the wrong way, Peterson was direct: "I'm a black American, and any black that disagrees with [multicultural leaders] lessens their power to use us to further their agenda.
He should have just said "because I am black".

"Some students weren't sure why he was allowed to speak," said DeValle, "because they felt he was preaching a message of hate, and the theme of the week was against hate."And this from people who didn't think twice about saying George W. Bush was complicit in the dragging death of a black man in Texas. Talk about hate speech.

Bravo for Rev. Peterson, who spoke, and bravo for the students who listened.
