"The domestic threat is very real, and I can sense that there is a lot which they know about the isn't being discussed publicly." They are among us. Be careful and watchful.

Quick and dirty version
Ye though I walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for I am the meanest SOB in the valley.

Cheney's statements the other night were chilling(more civilians will die on the homefront than military overseas). I took that to mean that given the 6000+ already dead on the homefront, it's likely that when the final tally is taken at the end of this conflict, more civilians will have died than actual US combatants.
In other words, civilian casualties have a 6000+ head start, and military causalties will probably never catch up.

"I'd reckon the Rangers are going to be looking for some payback after Mogadishu....(Delta, too!)" I've heard it reported 2-3 times already that the pentagon was selecting Taliban targets in Somalia.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Up to 200 U.S. Army Rangers are attacking a Taliban target in southern Afghanistan, CBS Television reported on Friday. "Between 100 and 200 Army Rangers are in the midst of their first raid on a target belonging to the Taliban," it said.
The network said the attack by the elite soldiers was going on in southern Afghanistan but it was not identifying the exact target until all the planes had brought the Rangers out.
There was no immediate comment on the report from the Pentagon.
