I've been a pro-gun warrior on the gun-control discussion forums for many years, and sometimes when nothing else works to pound some reality into an anti-gunner's head, a stark dose of real-life in the form of uncensored photos of car accidents and various forms of non-gun suicide often works wonders.

Uncensored photos of the carnage of 9/11 would be even more valuable as a "reality check" for many of the ivory-tower peaceniks who even now still can't quite seem to grasp the nature of what really happened. To them, it's all one big batch of movie special effects.
