Thanks for the ping. I read the Song of the Nightingale after it came out and all the McCainiacs gushed over how it showed him as a leader. While I gained a great deal of respect for the Senator after reading of his imprisonment, the one who jumped out as a wise leader was Secretary Webb. I would have that man as my leader any day. Hopefully, he will continue to hold a high profile (and voice) in our war against terrorism.

The second thing that came to my mind was my resignation as Secretary of the Navy and the reason for it.

Secretary Webb is obviously a man of principle.
