"I think that the core temp is still 1600 degrees. "

I was talking to two FDNY ambulance men the other day and they said it was still a "boot burner".

If you can possible get down there, I see you're from Michigan, you should see it. Talk to the people who work down there who ran for their lives. TV doesn't do the scene justice. Its just unbelievable.

If it were CHRISTIANITY or Jesus Christ, people would be screeching non-stop. The persecution has begun!

Rabbi Joseph Patasnick was just on. He was a dear friend of Father Mike. I believe he is now the head of the NYFD chaplins.

I'm beginning to believe that the Hildebeast is connected to Schumer at the hip.

I have friends who were there the day after the tragedy. They told me things that will never leave my brain. I can't even look at pictures of the WTC without crying. The opening of Sex and the City has the WTC twice and I just totally lost it.

The Bushes just arrived back at the White House from Camp David. God bless President Bush. I love that he has let the memorials be a ' New York thing'.

what wahoo says is the absolute truth.

the dust of the dead is still in the air.

i inhaled the remains of some of them in a five hour
walk through lower manhattan on september 30.

as no amount of national geographic browsing can prepare one
for the magnificence of the rocky mountains,
so can no tv camera convey the atrocity that we have suffered.

I just saw him, too. At first I thought he was walking as if he was stiff, and then I realized he was trying to go slow because of Laura's mother. What a nice man! (Barney and Spot were also sighted.)

I've had 4 different jobs within a few blocks over the years, including one in one of the towers. I miss the old view of the skyline from the roof of my father's apartment too. Anything less than a total rebuilding will seem like a defeat to me.

Stay strong! For the most part, we're holding up over here. Life, and the finance biz in particular, goes on! Every day I consider walking by the site to go to work a little slap at the terrorists.

I'm going back to NYC on vacation on March 16 and it is in our plans to go to Ground Zero and pay our respects. We will also visit that church nearby that survived without a scratch. We were just there this past July...so innocent and carefree.

It does sound especially written for today. Especially " No child was born to hate", but then again who knows, all ALW songs sound the same.

I am glad that Franklin Graham mentioned George W Bush.

How strange...they're playing Barber's "Adagio for Strings." This song flashed into my head when it was all happening on September 11 and I've played it several times since.

Oh my gosh, I love this song. Samuel Barber is a fabulous composer. I want to call this Allegro for Strings. I think that's it but I am too lazy to go check my CDs.
