I am a big Dubya fan, and yes, he might go down as one of the best ever presidents, BUT, a gifted speaker? Ya gotta be kidding, he is an awful speaker, and if I hear him say: "Make no mistake about it" once more, I am gonna barf. I am still amazed how he got elected each time he makes another speech. Yes, he is sincere, which comes across and probably helps people pay less attention to how awful his delivery is. I am also amazed how many public speakers keep saying "uh". Now, I will say, what he says is great, sincere and I hope he gets re-elected several times, but I just hate to see him make public speaking appearances, it's embarassing. Public speaking is overrated anyway. Bill Clinton was great at giving speech's but he was, is and will always be a lying jerk, just like Hillary.

True, honest sincerity is what makes a great speech....IMHO....clinton delivered a great speech (depending on your perspective) but you always knew that he was not sincere....just pandering to the sheeple, which in the end, made it a HORRIBLE speech.

LOL.......I have yet to be impressed with delivery or content of Bush speeches and sometimes I cringe, sorry to say. Maybe he needs a New Speech Writer. I for one Loved Dear Old Ron!

Awful Speaker???? Where the hell were you when he gave that speech to the joint session of Congress. Even the liberal media hailed that as one of the greatest speeches ever delivered by a President.

Where were you when he delivered the one at the Washington Catherdal???? Also a fabulous speech.

His speeches are always best when he really believes in what he is doing. They are also better when Karen Hughes, who knows him well writes them. He does just fine and is improving all the time. But to say he is awlful is terribly unfair. You must have missed his better ones.

Wow Warren. He has given some speeches lately that have been terrific, delivery and all! I don't think he was real comfortable at first given public speeches, but he seems to have overcome that now. Practice makes more perfect.
He is a natural, which is refreshing, that is why he says, "make no mistake about it" so often. If you recall, his father said the same thing quite often. He would of course have picked that phrase up while growing up with him. I am sure we all tend to repeat some of the little phrases our parents said. It is a good thing, not a bad thing.
Remember Clinton's, " Let me say this?"

Did they repeal term limits in the "Patriot" act too heh heh...

I like him too, but let's only reelect him once. We have a problem in this country with royalty.
