I agree, and I think it's important that our politicians know the true numbers of Muslims in the country, so as to not inflate the importance of their vote.

Take the number of illegal Mexicans in the country, divide that by the number of illegal's from El Salvador, add the number of people Castro dumped on us during the Mariel Boat Lift, then subtract the number of bullets in the weapon pointed at Alien Gonzales. Take that total then multiply it by the number of store clerks at 7-Elevens. After that, add the number of financial scams by Nigerians but only the regular mail scams. Not the Nigerian email scams. Finally, take that total and divide it by Babara Striesands IQ (64) and you have the total of Muslims in America.

I should have said "most of the ones I know." However, I did know a few Paki's in college that I wouldn't ever turn my back on. Paki's on the whole are NUTS. Turks are usually pro-American and decent though.

After giving this some thought, I concluded that if I had been born in China or Russia, I would call myself an American who was born in China (or Russia)...I have heard this expression used numerous times...

I would suspect this is probably true of muslim Arabs born in this country...

According to the Muslim Religious center there are 2.2 million ACTIVE Muslim in the US. They believe that there may be as many as one million addition who are not active in any organized group. There are people who live in small towns or rural areas to far from a major center to join.
