I loved the view. I always wanted to dine at Windows on the World but never got a chance.

You’re lucky you didn’t eat there. It was the world’s most expensive cafeteria.

That may be true but it's a one shot deal. Its the same here in Toronto with the revolving restaurant in the CN tower. Ate there once and that was enough. You pay for the view...the food is sort of secondary.

Seconded. It SUCKED. It basically existed so that the WTC coupld make money off the bridge-and-tunnel crowd who needed a "cool place" to host their weddings and prom parties, and so that NYC businesspeople could take clients there from out of town and impress them. You sure never went for the food.
