Posts like this take all the fun out of wondering whether or not folks will throng to kiss the feet of the Anti-Christ. True. Scary when disruptors like Belial seem to have a better grip than most of the thread.

I wonder how many people were deported, tortured or executed while Putin wore that cross during his KGB years...Oh, wait - those sort of actions prove that he fits right in with that old time Christianity, don't they?

"If this is real it is very heavy and blows alot of popular eschatology out of the water....."
Good. It is high time that people begin to realize that the final chapters of Ezekiel have beans to do with present-day Russia. It was always pretty dubious arguing that, since Rosh sounds kinda like "Russia" and since "Meshech" and "Moscow" both have an M and a C in them than they're obviously one in the same. I would be most pleased in Hal Lindsey's swill finally goes to the dustbin where it belongs
A careful reading of Ezekiel 38 and Revelation will show that the attack on Israel from the north corresponds to the post-millenium rebellion recorded in Revelation 20. Ezekiel 38 says Israel will be dwelling at peace in their land with unwalled (unfortified) cities--a millenial condition that has never existed in history.

"Kings have traditionally been the representatives of God, if not God incarnate. "
And there came among the people a King, and he said "Can't we all just get along?"
, and his name was Rodney.

I don't care what you say..... This is historic.
To see this on Drudge.
I'm not sure what it portends.
These are indeed days where the surreal
and the supernatural are visibly present in our midst.
For the message of the cross is foolishness
to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved
it is the power of God.
- St. Paul's letter
to the Corinthians 1:17-19

If this was a private conversation, I find it surprising that Bush would tell it to a journalist. He's usually a very private man, and Putin who was KGB might feel imbarrased about it being made public!?!

"Peg Noonan's writing is like a grilled cheese sandwich. Warm, gooey and desperately lacking substance"
The substance that is lacking is in your soul. Peggy's substance is her faith which is weaved throughout everything she writes.

This is also interesting since Bush is a Methodist, not Catholic or Orthodox. If it is of God, it is a visible vindication of the Protestant, so-called "invisible church" concept of the body of believers -- something which spans the three major divisions of the historical church. (As I am a Protestant myself, I am not in the least surprised to see it.)

Yes, Thank GOD for Brother Hagin who labored tirelessly to get Bibles and his books into Russia over the years. I have always believed they were a direct result of the downfall of the Russian Empire.
