Seen as far South as the Gulf Coast. Not normal for a Aurora Broealis. Perhaps simular to January 25, 1938???

It was blood red, yellow and green and looked like it was eminating from directly overhead. The vantage point was just south of Green Bay

Same here just outside St. Louis. Only problem were the city lights made it pale.

I was out with the dogs last night, here on the outskirts of Raleigh, North Carolina witnessing a beautiful display of red with intermittant waves of white coming off the Northern horizon.

I had seen similar sights while visiting up in Canada, north of Montreal, but I always seemed to have had a few beers in me on those occasions and I was never too sure whether I was seeing things or not...Hmmmm...Thanks for helping clarify those lost episodes with your confirmations for that is, in fact, what I thought I saw. :-)
