Considering that I make the 927 mile drive between San Diego and Pocatello in 14 hours 15 minutes, a trip across Idaho is a relatively "quick" process.

Double-teamin' there I hope, good buddy??

No, it is a solo run. Leg #1 is Pocatello, ID to Nephi, UT. (gas). Leg #2 Nephi, UT to St. George, UT. (food and gas stop). Leg #3 St. George, UT to Barstow, CA. (gas) Leg #4 Barstow, CA to Chula Vista, CA. Typically 14 hours, 15 minutes depending on the traffic between North Las Vegas and Barstow. I carry food, drink, cell phone and lots of CDs. My Saturn SL2 averages 33 mpg on the trip. I just changed the oil again today for Sunday's trip.

I just checked the weather forecast. Pocatello is supposed to have rain and snow on Nov 17th and 18th. That means heavy cloud cover. I'm returning on Nov 16th, so the Leonids will be a wash for me this year. At least I'll be home.

;-( Better luck next time. Snow? What is that? We don't get that very often here in this part of Texas. A one foot snow here is reported and it means two flakes seen one foot apart!
