Have you ever noticed that those who are out in the streets protesting the War on Terrorism have a tendency to get violent when challenged? These same people who question our government's decision to use force against those who have no problem slaughtering innocent Americans and others who happen to get in their way, these same people who are "concerned" about civilian casualties, these same people who chant "an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind", these same people who want to give hugs to terrorists, these same people who want to explore the "root causes" of terrorism, are the very same people who are quite likely to hurl viscious insults and even start pushing and shoving you if you dare question the righteousness of their cause. The hypocrisy is obviously lost on them, but it doesn't deceive us here on Free Republic! We know that they aren't just warm, fuzzy patriots "concerned" about America! What we should do is suggest ideas for the peaceniks and the "Blame America First" crowd, the anti-capitalists and the eco-terrorists, so that they can exercise their First Amendment rights without deceiving themselves and the gullible, unsuspecting public. What is it they're really saying? What do they really think of this country?
If these people would chant slogans and carry protest signs that said what they really believed, what would the slogans and signs say? Here are a couple of ideas of my own:
"YOU'D BETTER BE NON-VIOLENT IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!"
"THOSE WHO DON'T WANT PEACE SHOULD BE SHOT!"
"ANYONE BUT AMERICA!
"THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY (the U.S.) IS MY FRIEND!" or, alternately,
"ANY ENEMY OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION IS A FRIEND OF MINE!"
These are OK slogans, but I'm not that creative. I KNOW there are some of you out there who can do much better!
It's not a tendency. It's more of a characteristic. At a minimum they get very loud and abusive. Same with opponents of ANWR drilling and shooting ranges.
Best I can do at the moment.
"DOWN WITH ALL SHAVING!"

If they are feminists, an old favorite: QUIT YOUR BITSHIN', GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN
They shake hands and as they walk, the Saudi says, "You know, I have just one question about what I have seen in America."
The American says, "Well, your Excellency, anything I can do to help you I will do."
The Saudi whispers, "My son watches this show 'Star Trek,' and in it there are Russians and Blacks and Asians, but never any Arabs. He is very upset. He doesn't understand why there are never any Arabs in Star Trek."
The American leans over, "That's because it takes place in the future, your Excellency."

How about: "THE MILITARY IS FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS, NOT FOR FIGHTING!
