For some strange reason, our government is very reluctant to prepare its citizens for such a calamity, though acknowledging that such a calamity is not only possible, it's probable.

I'm all for preparation, but really, how probable is a nuclear bomb going off in NYC?

Probably as unlikely as a plane intentionally flying into the WTC Twin Towers???

I would have thought quite unlikely on September 10th.

I still remember my first reaction when Carol told me "a plane flew into the WTC in New York.":

"What? You're kidding? No, you're not! You wouldn't kid about something like that!"

Then when the second plane flew into the other tower:

"What's wrong with the world?"
