Islam is a religion of piece. No, its pieces. Pieces of sheep!

Still, if we're to get into religious disputes using the armed might of the United States, why don't we go after the Catholics first? After all, they are closer at hand and most of them already speak English - should be easier to deal with you know.

What say ye my friend?

What say the Islamic people?

I want this to be wrong, and I want Islam to say it out loud and often to dispell it if it is a lie!

Please tell it ain't so....

OK, allow me to be the contrarian. I don't think Graham dipping in the Koran a bit qualifies him to start announcing to the world that Islam as practiced today (where?) is "evil." The man has no humility. He is an egomaniac.

EVERY time Jerry Falwell opens his mouth the elite media jump all over him! As Falwell says "you always know you are out front when you are getting kicked in the butt."

Did anyone notice that the media did say a word when Clinton in his Georgetown speech blamed 911 on slavery! Of course, slaves are still owned and traded in the Islamic nations - no problem for Clinton though.

Yes, Jesus was very "tolerant" of people. He loved everyone, no matter how sinful. However, ZHe was not tolerant of either their beliefs or their sins-and He made that clear, but He did it in such a way that those whom were in sin and false belief would clearly see the truth and accept it because of Him and his loving actions.

He is an egomaniac

He is anything but that. You may as well say that Bill Clinton is a saint.

When he ate with sinners, it wasn't tolerance. As I said earlier, tolerance is a very low standard. It's the standard of our day. Jesus would have never set such a low standard for His followers. His standard is love.

So true, they never speak of his "tolerance" when he drove out the money changers.

People don't post links when they start threads about what they've seen on TV.

Agreed, Lowry was great with his comments......ie. "Where are the Muslim clerics that should be denouncing the WTC violence?"..........Touche'.

Also the new cover of NR should be a hoot, along the lines of the decidedly non-PC cover with Hill, Bill and Al as buck-toothed chinese. To the rest of the media: IN YO FACE!

A couple of weeks ago a former muslim spoke out on the radio program "Janet Parsel's America" saying just the same thing and elaborating on it even more. Apparently the sanitized, politically correct version is designed NOT to offend our so called "allies". The Koran itself - speaks for itself if anyone cares to read it.

Hasn't Islam demonized all other faiths. Evil is, as evil does. 19 Muslim Arabs committed a heinous act of war against America. "By their fruits ye shall know them."

He ate with sinners who wanted to repent and be saved. Makes a big difference when you put it in proper perspective. He told his disciples to "shake the dust from their feet" if they were not welcome or if they were not welcomed. In other words he commanded them not to associate with sinners that had no desire to repent.

Well, his comment suggests otherwise. I have seen him on the tube, and he really doesn't do much for me. But if you say overall he is not, I will take your word for it. Then the man is just an incautious shoot from the hip lightweight.

Because Catholics are not butchering Protestants or Jews or anyone else. If they were, and their teachings stated as much, then there would be nothing wrong with condeming that religion. I do not mean to say that all Muslims commit attrocities-that would be ridiculous-or even that the Koran (or however you spell it!) must be interpreted to command the killing of infidels. However, the truth is that large and influential blocks of Islam take it as such and are carrying it out, and to deny it is foolishness, both for non-Muslims and peaceful Muslims alike.

Thanks for finding and posting this news article.

I kind of empathize with Franklin, for TODAY, this Ramadan, my patience has C R A C K E D in so far as Islam as a religion of "peace & tolerance" is concerned.

Islam looks to me more like an EXCUSE for politicized sadistic "moslems" to create CULTS, paramilitary cults whose deluded members are brainwashed to go kill CIVILIANS in countries that those losers are JEALOUS of.

There are things more important than getting a high-visibility pulpit.

The Graham Crusades buy their time on TV. The Grahams are paid a salary. I don't recall them ever begging for money in a sermon. Billy Graham has always traveled with male assistants so that no "bimbo" can accuse him of being unfaithful to Ruth. If there had ever been a hint of scandal about Billy Graham, the media would have been all over it.
